Here are good deeds 351 through 400

I'd just like to take a paragraph of this journal entry to put things into perspective ...
I've been recording such acts for about a year and a half now, but think of it this way. It's taken me quite a long period of time to do 400 good deeds, but if everyone in my home town (which has a population of roughly 80000), did one good deed each, every day, together we would accumulate 200 times 400 acts of kindness a day - every single day.

I know I probably sound like a crazy street preacher but I hope somebody can see a point in what I have said.

351 – I hold doors open for people, especially if the people in question are authority figures, female, or have their hands full.
352 – I visited Megan after she’d been in hospital.
353 – I posed for various photos so that my twin had sufficient reference material for his AS Art exam. Reward – He did the same for me.
354 – I helped Laura revise for the mock Core 2 Maths exam.
355 – I derived some useful Probability Distribution formulae to help my friends pass the AS Statistics exam.
356 – I made Laura smile when she was ill by drawing a portrait of her.
357 – I motivated Gemma to finish her Geography assignment.
358 – I re-taught Laura the entire Core 2 Maths syllabus the night before the exam. Reward – More hugs than a man could hope for.
359 – I tried to help my older brother find a new flat by scanning in some advertisements and emailing them to him.
360 – I taught my twin and Andy how to solve logarithms.
361 – I showed Adam how to solve a complex simultaneous equation involving arithmetic and geometric terms.
362 – I helped Zoe by enhancing some photographs for her.
363 – I agreed to make a photo-manipulation of me and Thomas making out to play a prank on his girlfriend.
364 – I promised to pretend to be Laura’s boyfriend to deter an ‘over-simulated’ stalker.
365 – I promised to help Andy and Laura pass the AS Statistics exam.
366 – I helped a foreigner find his way into the city centre.
367 – I helped by mum out of a cardigan with impossibly slippery buttons.
368 – I created a set of Statistics revision notes that covered most of the syllabus and then distributed them to my friends.
369 – I warned people about the S1-C2 hybrid question on the Statistics past papers.
370 – I picked up Mrs Cunliffe’s sandwich from the Atrium Café and delivered it to her in the Art department.
371 – I delivered a memo from the Art department to Mr Clark.
372 – I always offer people tissues if I have them; usually to mop up spills.
373 – I helped Ms Hitchcock by explaining the benefits of an electronic sketchpad to a group of her Year 10 pupils.
374 – I carried a box of calculators for Miss Rush.
375 – I promised to cater for Laura’s sixteenth birthday party.
376 – I researched assonance and hendecasyllables for Becki.
377 – I regularly accompany Fiona on her dog-walking excursions.
378 – I proof-read Adam’s personal statement and high-lighted areas that may have been in need of improvement.
379 – I read out the online code off tens of Tesco club card vouchers so that my mum could type them in more efficiently. Reward – I regained usage of the computer.
380 – I took Jess to see The Script. Reward – Affection.
381 – I told Laura what a park in Durham was called.
382 – I helped Matt fix his Flash quiz.
383 – I then showed Mr Garside how to create his own Flash quiz.
384 – I created a variety of e-safety resources for Miss Forbes to use.
385 – Having won a tournament of ‘sprouts’ in Maths, I gave the prize of one drumstick lollipop to Laura. Reward – A hug.
386 – I helped Jess and Megan decide what to buy Laura for her seventeenth birthday.
387 – I created and printed out over 20 invitations to my mum’s fiftieth birthday party. Reward – She helped me get everything ready for Laura’s birthday party.
388 – I made my mum a cute but rather complex cushion in Textiles. Reward – She always offers to mend clothes for me.
389 – I promised Julian I would deliver his birthday present to Laura for him.
390 – I designed a logo for the fake Swedish metal band Andy, Tom and me created called Thor.
391 – I inspired my Art teacher, Mrs Cunliffe, to buy a book about Physics and broaden her understanding of the universe.
392 – I helped Mr Howarth trial some computer game authoring software.
393 – I help my mum to decide whether she likes a set of curtains or not by holding them up for her.
394 – I help Becki with her Spanish homework by translating random words for her. Reward – She used to help me with my French homework.
395 – I regularly see Becki through bouts of boredom. Reward – She does the same for me.
396 – I gave away a football as a gift to a kid who really wanted it.
397 – I listened to Laura’s girly gossip when her girl-friends were being harsh about it.
398 – I lent Jess my question sheet so she could do the summer homework for Physics.
399 – I helped Hannah organise a trip down to Durham by answering some queries she had.
400 – I developed Julian’s knowledge concerning the video game, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’.
